David has over 35 years of music industry experience as a writer/interviewer, artist manager, music booking agency owner and agent, CEO of three (3) multi-million dollar independent radio marketing and promotion companies (1995-Present), Head of Promotion for WMG’s Asylum Records (2004), an independent record label owner who has released over 25 albums, an A&R Consultant and record deal maker. Currently, as an independent radio promotion executive, Mr. Sherbow has been responsible for helping to break over 100 Number 1 records nationally and has worked projects for every major label. Throughout his tenure in the music business, Mr. Sherbow has concentrated his efforts mainly in the Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop areas. His unique mindset combines an understanding of the record business, the radio business, digital music media and music marketing and promotion which substantially differentiates David from his would be competitors in the Internet music space and has allowed him to create and develop LiveMusicMachine.Com, the Internet’s first user generated booking utility.

Cara Peckens

Cara is a jack of all trades. From managing the development and design of LiveMusicMachine.Com, to graphic design,  marketing & promotion, and trouble shooting for the company on every level, Cara has been instrumental in the creation of LiveMusicMachine.Com from Day 1. Cara graduated with honors from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD with a BA in Media Studies & Women's Studies.  Before taking a leave of absence to work fulltime on LiveMusicMachine, Cara finished her first year at the top of her class at the University of Denver's prestigious Masters Program in Digital Media.  Cara has been working with David for nearly five years where she has learned the ins and outs of independent record promotion, and been exposed to the music business from a wide variety of perspectives.  Cara has always been a lover of music, and all things "geek chic."  It was these two loves that has made LiveMusicMachine the perfect showcase for Cara's talents.
